APSET 2017: Hall tickets released

The hall ticket for Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET-2017) has been released on July 22. All those candidates who have registered for the same are required to download their respective tickets from the official website www.apset.net.in. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 30 for recruiting candidates to the position of professors.

The State Eligibility Test (SET) is based on the pattern of the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC.

APSET is conducted by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of government of Andhra Pradesh. The APSET exam is an eligibility test for Assistant Professor in the universities of Andhra Pradesh.

How to download the APSET 2017 hall ticket :

  • Go to the official website, apset.net.in
  • On the Homepage, click on APSET hall ticket
  • In the provided fields, enter your application Number, Password & Security Key
  • Click on submit
  • Your hall ticket will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the same and take a print out for further reference

Exam centres :

Examination will conduct at pre-allotted centres like Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram (Rajahmundry), Guntur, Nellore, Anantapur and Tirupati.

Exam pattern:

The question paper-I which is common for all the candidates appearing APSET will be bi-lingual (English and Telugu). The question paper-II and paper-III will be bi-lingual for specific subjects viz; Commerce, Economics, Education, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology and Social Work.

Andhra University was established in 1926 as a residential teaching- cum-affiliating University. The 89 year old institution is fortunate to have Sir C.R. Reddy as its founder Vice chancellor and Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as the second Vice-Chancellor.

For assistant Professors / Lectures through direct recruitment or promotion in Universities and Degree colleges in newly formed Andhra Pradesh state, Andhra university prepared the proposal for conduct of APSET examination and sent it through APSCHE and Government of Andhra Pradesh to the U.G.C New Delhi. There are 26 Universities, 146 Government Degree Colleges, 1192 aided and unaided degree colleges in bifurcated Andhra Pradesh.
